A Typical Day – Detox and Recharge Retreat
MAGNESIUM AND ADRENAL REBUILDING PROTOCOLS (6:45 AM)
These supplements support your nervous system and adrenals – small grape-sized glands located on top of your kidneys and responsible for your energy levels. You’ll start taking the supplement on Tuesday.
YOGA OR MEDITATION CLASS (7 AM)
Starting the day on a positive note is essential. Yoga and guided meditation will help remove stagnant energy from the cells and recharge you for the day. Yoga and Meditation classes alternate, so you have 3 of each per week, except there is one Monday in each program cycle when the class is not run.
Additionally, there is no class on the departure day.
GREEN SMOOTHIE AND CHECK-IN (8 AM)
Nourish your body with minerals and amino acids, and assist your digestion with working properly. Green smoothies include fruit, a variety of green leafy vegetables, and superfoods (Goji Berries, Chia Seeds, Incan Berries etc.). With smoothies, you’ll also receive various cleanses. On Mon and Tue there is offered lung cleanse; and on Fri, Sat and Sun a kidney cleanse.
HYDRATION (8 AM-1 PM)
Water is essential for our health, especially for brain function, as it has the smallest capillaries compared to other organs. Scheduled hydration is extremely beneficial for every cell.
GI AND LYMPH FLUSH (8:30 AM) - Wed and Thursday only
On Wed and Thu we offer an advanced entire digestive tract and lymph flush called Isotonic.
BREAKFAST (9 AM)
Enjoy delicious, nutritious and beautiful to the eye vegan organic meal prepared by our chefs. Since digestion and the liver are a system and an organ that typically needs the most support, our meals are served with Liver Activation Shot™, as well as quality probiotics and digestive enzymes. Other cleanses and supplements are served with breakfast, and they vary depending on the day.
Note: On Wed and Thu, breakfast is not offered due to GI and Lymph Flush. On those days, at 9:30 am, Toxin Absorbent drink “Poultice” is served.
MORNING HEALTH CLASS (9:45-10:45 AM)
On Mondays and some Saturdays, we organize group time, which allows participants to bond on a deeper level. On Tue and Fri, there are scheduled Healthy Food demos and other Classes. On Wed and Thu, it is the time of a rest period, which is required after the intensive flush.
FITNESS CLASS OR WALK (11:00-11:45 AM)
Twice a week, enjoy an invigorating Fitness Class either indoors or, if weather permits, outdoors. On the rest of the days, you’ll be able to have some quiet personal time or to go for another walk.
LIVER CLEANSE OR GREEN JUICE (11:45 AM)
Twice a week, a green juice is served. Four times a week, you’ll be offered Liver Cleanse, which includes shot made from Fresh Dandelion Greens and Tart Cherry Juice, as well as herbal Milk Thistle Shot and Liver Capsules.
HEALTH CLASS (12-1 PM)
Enjoy a variety of health-related topics shared by our knowledgeable team.
LUNCH (1 PM)
Time to add more nutrients. Our guilt-free healthy meals are served with a digestion-enhancing shot and more probiotics and digestive enzymes. Additionally, other cleanses and supplements are served with the lunch, and they vary, depending on a day.
REST, INDEPENDENT OR GUIDED WALK (1:30-4:00 PM)
These unstructured rest periods are well-loved by our guests, who come from busy lifestyles on the schedule. This is a great time to get your blood moving and moods lifted by walking on the beach overlooking the Desolation Mountain range, or to get a nap. Twice a week, our guide will take you to various places in the valley for a nature walk. There are two options of time for the walks (1:30-3:00 and 3:15-4:45), so you can choose the one that is not during your treatment time.
HYDRATION (2:30-6 PM)
Enjoy more purified water with lemon juice, honey, or herbal teas. Please aim to finish your 3 litres of liquids, including morning and evening teas, by the evening.
HEALTH VIDEO (4:00 PM)
Watch the video for the day in your room on a dedicated TV channel. If you have treatments during that time, feel free to watch the video when convenient.
SUPPER (5:00 PM)
Following the principle ‘eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and supper like a popper, our suppers consist of a hot vegetable soup and gluten-free crackers. This allows for the nervous, hormonal and digestive systems to take a break and restore optimally at night. Cleanses and supplements are served with the supper, and they vary, depending on a day.
HYDROTHERAPY (5:30-8 PM)
Water is one of the most effective methods of balancing the nervous system and releasing negative emotions. Using a combination of a steam bath, cold showers, and aromatherapy provides great physical benefits and powerfully cleanses and restores energetic organs that some people call aura and charkas.
EVENING ACTIVITIES (7-9 PM)
Once or twice a week, we organize fun and relaxing activities such as games, movies or bonfire nights.
GOOD NIGHT TEA AND PARASITE CLEANSE (7-9 PM)
After coming from the steam room, enjoy a cup of relaxing herbal tea in the hotel lobby. The tea contains calming herbs, such as pasque flower, melissa and other nervous system tonics. The tea is complemented with parasite cleanse, which will be provided for self-serve in the beginning of the week.
INDIVIDUAL TREATMENTS (1:30-9:30 PM)
The 7-day program includes six one-on-one treatments, and the 5-day one has four. Most treatments are scheduled in the afternoon and evening, with some occasional exceptions that can be scheduled before lunch. This type of scheduling ensures that you can take all of your herbal drinks and participate in the majority of morning classes.
SLEEP TIME (9 PM)
Let your body unwind and get much needed rest. Sleep tight! We highly suggest that you avoid social media and computer work 2 hrs. before sleep, especially if you have sleep issues, as stimulation of the eyes late at night may negatively impact sleep quality.
Note: There is no 7 a.m. yoga or meditation class on departure day.
