Project Description
Allen, BC Canada
“My heart variance is 38% higher than usual, deep sleep is 5% higher than before coming, and my recovery rate is daily in the 90%. After a week, I feel great, sleeping well, my energy levels are up, activity level is higher than back home with all workouts, the exercise programs and just having time to go for these walks and take care of ourselves.”
Improvements with: Eating and Lifestyle Habits, Fitness Routine, Sleep
Experience Highlights:
- Massages and other therapies that make you relaxed and energized.
- Proof that the program works. My personal monitor indicators have improved drastically from 60% to 90+%. One day, my recovery rate was 100%.
- The program allowed me to have time so I could break away to go golfing. The weather is beautiful, the golf courses are unreal. The staff were very accommodating to make sure I could get my few hours a day every second day in the afternoon. I appreciated that.
- Healthy holiday: my wife and I took time to take this holiday to detox and relax rather than the all-inclusive. We wanted to come out of this holiday energized and healthy instead of tired and overweight.
- Optimizing Digestion: your digestion, you get straightened out quite quickly in the program with the diet they give you.
- Nourishing Food: the chefs are unbelievable. The food is next level. It’s all vegetarian, vegan. I didn’t think I was that guy, and I love the food. It was great. And, definitely, you notice it every day.
- Healthy Education: It’s an excellent learning curve for a healthy life in general, your food planning, shopping, and the list goes on and on.
- Easy-to-Apply Tips: This is our second visit. After the first time, we brought 15 of what we learned back to our daily life and still do today. And I’m hoping that when we leave again, we will bring another 15%. Now, we are back to 330%. Hey, that’s a win. We’ll take it.
- Trying everything with an open mind. I came with: when in Rome, do what Romans do attitude. I was curious about everything that was going on. So, I took it all in.
Allen’s Recovery Rate*
Last Month

Week at Fresh Start

* Recovery rate means recovery rate during your sleep. It takes into consideration multiple factors, such as respiratory rate, blood oxygen level, skin temperature and heart rate. When this rate is low, it means that you experience higher stress and need additional rest. When the rate is high, it means you are ready for a higher load and better performance.

Best Sleep in Allen’s Life
on Fresh Start Program

**HRV (=Heart Rate Variability) = fluctuation of timing between your heartbeats. Healthy HRV: 60-70 ms (for athletes 90-100). Less healthy individuals will have: 40-55. This rate shows your body’s ability to be adaptable to the environment. It’s an indication of your overall health, particularly your heart health, stress resilience and state of the autonomic nervous system, which regulates your heart. Your diet, sleep, exercise and stress management all contribute to your HRV. HRV can be affected positively by meditation and other similar calming activities.
RHR (Resting Heart Rate) – shows how effectively your heart functions. Healthy RHR: 50-70 beats per minute (for athletes 40 bpm). Your RHR is affected by your fitness level, meds, anxiety and changes in hormone levels.
Respiratory Rate – number of breaths per minute. Healthy RR for an adult = 12-20 breaths per minute. This indicator shows your overall health and may be affected by your activity level, respiratory and some other illnesses, temperature, anxiety, pain and some medications.
