“The program will help me by refocusing on what we’re eating, what we’re doing, and why we’re doing it we’ve I’ve already got copious notes on the different types of foods that I should be looking at where I possibly can find these foods, what is good for me, what is not. And so that’s all part of what I’m going to take away.”

Drooping Foot Due to hip replacement surgery, I had a damaged nerve that has created drop foot and I've been working with physiotherapists and numbers of other people to see if they can do anything about it and the best we can do at this point in time is to make sure that it doesn't get any worse and that I keep my right leg, which is the leg that is the problem, healthy and active. | I've learned from a number of the staff here that a couple other exercises that I hadn't known about before and I have to say that the therapy, the massage therapies that I've got have made my leg feel very, very good and that was a real bonus for me. |
Eating and Lifestyle Habits. | I have found that there are more ways of preparing food than I do myself, and I like to cook. I've don't really have any cravings, but I do enjoy some of the new things that I've encountered here, including a couple of the very good salads which I tend to incorporate into our our meals. |
Experience Highlights:
- Meeting different people and learning from them. The staff was also learning from us.
- Friendliness of the staff and the group helping with whatever we needed.
- The program identifies itself in that not only does it tell you why it’s doing what it’s doing, but what it’s doing and how it’s doing it.
- It is a very viable and economical alternative to an expensive holiday going somewhere else to an all-inclusive resort. It’s a health resort, but got benefits you won’t find in some of these other places.
- It’s close, it’s Canadian, and it’s local to us – we like to support local.
- It ‘s got health benefits that you really don’t know about, consciously or subconsciously, or maybe even had a chance to learn about it in any other way. Here you actually live it, and that’s important.
